MOISTURE MANAGEMENT

All natural fibers absorb moisture from the atmosphere, such as wool, which is done in greater proportion than the others. Wool is hygroscopic, absorbing water vapor in a humid atmosphere and loses it in a dry one.
Wool fiber can absorb up to 50% of its weight in runoff, while synthetic fabrics retain only 4% before they feel wet. The liquid retained in the cortex of the fiber is evaporated by exposing the garment to air and sun.
Merino wool can absorb sweating from a highly effective way. This allows moisture to enter into the interior of the fibers by preventing your body feel wet.
